In 2026 Halloween falls on a Saturday and the next day is All Saints’ Day, a national holiday: a long weekend to make the most of, with costume parties, kids’ workshops and themed amusement parks. Here are the confirmed events and how to get there from the suite.

Halloween 2026: the calendar

October 31, 2026 is a Saturday: parties start in the evening and go on until late at night. Sunday, November 1 is All Saints’ Day (Ognissanti), a public holiday throughout Italy. Many family events already take over the previous weekend, October 24 and 25. Halloween in Milan is mostly parties in clubs and venues, museum workshops and pumpkin patches. The real “fright fair” is in the amusement parks outside the city.

Parties and nights out on October 31

Circo de Los Muertos – Fabbrica del Vapore (Via Procaccini 4). Costume party with two stages and DJ sets, from 22:00 on October 31 until 4:00 on November 1. Adults only. Tickets start at €20 plus presale fee on DICE, and the price rises in batches. From the suite, take the M2 from Loreto to Garibaldi, then the M5 to Monumentale.

Halloween Superheroes – The Club: October 31 night with entry from €25. Other clubs and venues also have themed nights with apericena (aperitif-dinner buffets): programs usually come out in the last few days. For ideas on areas and venues, read Milan by night.

To get back late at night, note that the metro doesn’t run all night on Saturdays. Keep a taxi app handy or check the ATM night lines.

With kids in the city

Museo Nazionale Scienza e Tecnologia (National Museum of Science and Technology, Via San Vittore 21). The Halloween program spans two weekends, October 24–25 and October 31–November 1, 2026. There are “Spooky Halloween” chemistry workshops, shadow monsters at the Tinkering lab, pumpkins to weave or paint, and a workshop for kids aged 3–6. On October 31 and November 1 there is also the guided tour “The Secrets of the Museum”, to be taken in costume. Hours and reservations are on museoscienza.org. It’s very convenient from the suite: M2 from Loreto to Sant’Ambrogio, no changes.

Until November 1, on weekends, two pumpkin patches are also open within the city: ZuccaLand at Oasi Ca’ Granda (via Ripamonti) and the Pumpkin Patch at Bosco della Luna (via Cusago), with a “haunted” maze. You’ll find more ideas for little ones in Milan with kids.

Halloween-themed amusement parks

Gardaland Magic Halloween (Castelnuovo del Garda). The event runs from September 12 to November 1, 2026, 51 days in a row. New this year is Preda, a horror maze to be crossed in silence. On October 31 there’s the Halloween Party. By train, go from Centrale to Peschiera del Garda (1–1.5 hours), then take the park shuttle.

HalLEOween at Leolandia (Capriate San Gervasio, BG). It’s designed for young children and has been running since September 18, 2026. There are shows, a parade, face painting and cartoon characters. On Saturdays the park stays open until 21:30. On October 31 there’s the Halloween Night with a DJ set and fireworks. By car it’s a little over half an hour from Milan (A4, Capriate exit). By public transport, there’s the Z301 intercity bus, which stops about 500 m from the entrance.

Movieland (Lazise, Canevaworld). On the weekends of October 17–18 and 24–25 there is the Krampus Alfagor. On October 31 there’s the Halloween Night with a DJ set until midnight and an extra shuttle to Peschiera station at 00:30. The free shuttle leaves from Peschiera station, about 5 km away. You can easily get there by train from Centrale.

November 1, All Saints' Day: what's open

All Saints’ Day is a national holiday: offices and schools are closed and ATM public transport runs on a holiday schedule. In 2026 it falls on a Sunday, so little changes compared to a regular weekend. Many shops in the center and along the major shopping streets, like Corso Buenos Aires near the suite, usually stay open. Some supermarkets and neighborhood shops, however, close or keep reduced hours. Check beforehand. November 1, 2026 is also the first Sunday of the month: participating city and state museums are free. For Brera and the Last Supper you still need to book. Details are in the guide to free museums in Milan. November 2, All Souls’ Day, is not a public holiday.
