Getting here
From the suite you have two metro lines just steps away. Here’s how tickets, contactless payment and operating hours work, plus the alternatives on foot and by bike.
Metro near the suite: Lima and Loreto (M1 red line), Loreto and Centrale (M2 green line), Centrale (M3 yellow line)
Ticket: standard 90-minute ticket, also valid for Rho Fiera
Payment: contactless card or smartphone at the turnstiles
Five lines: M1 red line (Duomo, Cairoli for the Castello, Conciliazione for the Last Supper, Rho Fiera), M2 green line (Centrale, Garibaldi, Brera-Lanza, Porta Genova for the Navigli), M3 yellow line (Centrale, Montenapoleone, Duomo), M4 blue line (Linate) and M5 lilac line (Isola, San Siro). Trains are frequent and run from around 6 am to half past midnight.
The easiest way is to pay directly at the turnstiles with a contactless card or your smartphone: on the metro, tap it both when you enter and when you exit. A standard ticket is valid for 90 minutes and also covers Rho Fiera; there are daily and three-day passes if you use public transport a lot. Check current fares on the ATM website. Children under 14 generally travel free.
Trams are a lovely way to see the city: tram 1, with its vintage carriages, runs right through the centre. On trams and buses, validate by tapping your contactless card on the on-board reader.
BikeMi is the city’s bike-sharing scheme, with stations all over the centre; there are also app-based bike and e-scooter sharing services. You can catch a taxi at a taxi rank (at Centrale and Loreto) or book one via an app or by phoning a radio taxi.
The suite is about a 10-minute walk from Milano Centrale station. For Malpensa, Linate and Bergamo, read our guide from the airports to the suite.
