What to see

Shopping in Milan: from Corso Buenos Aires to the Fashion Quadrilateral

One of Europe’s longest shopping streets starts right outside the suite. Then there’s the Quadrilateral, the Galleria, Brera and the outlets outside the city.

Shopping a Milano

On your doorstep: Corso Buenos Aires, a few steps from the suite
Luxury: the Quadrilateral, M3 Montenapoleone
Tax free: for non-EU residents, ask in store

Corso Buenos Aires

About one and a half kilometres of shops from Porta Venezia to Piazzale Loreto: international chains, clothing, shoes, cosmetics and department stores. It’s incredibly convenient from the suite, even for an evening stroll.

The Fashion Quadrilateral

Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via Sant’Andrea and Via Manzoni: the boutiques of the great fashion houses within just a few blocks. It’s worth the walk even just for window shopping, especially during Fashion Week.

Galleria, Duomo and Corso Vittorio Emanuele

The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is home to historic shops and cafés; opposite the Duomo you’ll find department stores with a panoramic terrace, and Corso Vittorio Emanuele is a long pedestrian shopping street running to San Babila.

Brera and design

For one-of-a-kind pieces, design objects and small independent shops, wander the streets of Brera and the neighbourhood’s design stores, or pop into the concept stores of Porta Garibaldi and Isola.

Outlets outside the city

Around Milan there are large outlet villages you can reach by shuttle bus from the city centre in about an hour. Check times and bookings on the outlets’ websites. Winter sales usually start in early January, summer sales in early July.
