What is Artigiano in Fiera?

One of the most visited fairs of the year: thousands of exhibitors from more than 100 countries showcasing crafts, fashion, homeware, jewellery and food specialities. It’s perfect for Christmas shopping and for a round-the-world lunch as you wander the halls. It’s usually open every day from 10:00 to 22:00.

Admission

Admission is free, but you need to register online on the official website to get your personal pass. Do it before you set off: at the entrance you simply show the QR code on your phone.

Getting there from the suite

M1 red line from Lima or Loreto to Rho Fieramilano, about 30–35 minutes with no changes. A standard urban ticket (zones Mi1–Mi3) is all you need, and you can also pay by contactless card at the turnstiles.

Tips

  • Weekends get very crowded: if you can, go on a weekday.
  • Bring a roomy bag, or ship your bulkier purchases.
  • After the fair, soak up the Christmas lights in the centre: the M1 takes you back to Duomo in half an hour.
