Admission is <strong>free<\/strong>; the usual hours are Tuesday to Sunday 8:00\u201318:00 (last entry 30 minutes before closing), closed Monday. On Sunday, November 1 it is therefore open as usual. For Monday, November 2 the City usually arranges extraordinary openings of cemeteries, but the 2026 hours have not yet been published: check the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comune.milano.it\">City of Milan<\/a> website.<\/p><ul><li><strong>Getting there:<\/strong> M2 from Loreto to Garibaldi FS (4 stops), then M5 to Monumentale (1 stop). About 25 minutes from the suite.<\/li><li><strong>Time needed:<\/strong> 60\u201390 minutes is enough for a first visit; pick up the map at the entrance.<\/li><li><strong>Respect:<\/strong> on the days of the dead there are many families visiting. It was a humble sweet, once handed out as an act of charity. For some (e.g. the Castello) it&#8217;s worth checking whether a reservation is needed.<\/li><li><strong>State museums with Domenica al museo (Museum Sunday):<\/strong> the Pinacoteca di Brera and the Last Supper are free, but only with <strong>mandatory reservation<\/strong>; the free spots sell out quickly.<\/li><li><strong>Paid exhibitions:<\/strong> the big fall exhibitions are open at Palazzo Reale; on weekends, booking is strongly recommended. For <strong>supermarkets<\/strong>, each chain decides for itself: in 2025, on All Saints&#8217; Day, many Esselunga, Carrefour, Lidl and other chain stores were open, with reduced or variable hours. For 2026 there are no announcements yet: check the app or the store&#8217;s page before heading out.
